  1. Click the Home Navigation menu.
  2. Click Hosts and Clusters
  3. Click Core-A on the left navigation menu.
  4. Click the CMD window on the task bar.
  5. Type ping core-a -t to start a continuous ping to the VM we will be migrating.
  6. Click back onto the web browser.
  7. Click the Home Navigation menu.
  8. Click HCX
  9. Click Migration from the left navigation menu.
  10. Click Migration Virtual Machines from the top menu options.
  11. Click the drop down menu to Specify Destination Folder.
  12. Click Discovered virtual machine folder.
  13. Click Select Folder.
  14. Click the drop down menu to Specify Destination Container.
  15. Click esx-01b.corp.local
  16. Click Select Destination.
  17. Click the drop down menu to select the Storage.
  18. Click the check box next to Region01-iSCSI01-COMP01
  19. Click Select
  20. Click the top right drop down menu labeled Bulk Migration.
  21. Click vMotion from the options.
  22. Click the check box next to core-A VM.
  23. Click Next
  24. Click Refresh from the top menu.
  25. Click Refresh from the top menu.
  26. Click the Home Navigation Menu.
  27. Click Hosts and Clusters.
  28. Click the Refresh icon next to the administrator@vsphere.local name.
  29. Click the second tab for the browser.
  30. Click on the core-A VM.
  31. Click on the command prompt from the task bar.
  32. Click the command window to stop the ping.
